Obituary

RAMIRO QUINTERO

Ramiro Quintero, 80, passed away on Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at his residence.

Mr. Quintero was born in Zaragosa, Coah., Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Dolores Quintero.

Brothers and sisters, Guadalupe Marchan, Maria De La Luz Tijerina, Rosario Sillas, Rodolfo Quintero, Rogelio Quintero and Antonio Quintero.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years of marriage, Maria Del Refugio Quintero.

Children, Luz Maria (Ruben) Reyes, Gloria (Cesar) Santos, Francisco (Denise) Quintero, Blanca Imelda (Israel) Reyes, Yancey (Maribel) Quintero and Irma Delia (Alexis) Boysillo.

20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

In-Laws, Antonio (Francisca) Tafolla, Jose Luis (Celia) Tafolla, Severo (Aurora) Tafolla, Pedro (Mercedes) Tafolla, Arturo (Veronica) Tafolla, Yolanda (Andres) Trevino, Irma Vda. De Contreras and Estela (Oslen) Martinez.

Also surviving him are numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Religious Service officiated by Pastor Pedro Tafolla will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons East Chapel, 4500 Thomas Ave. A Chapel service will be officiated by Pastor Pedro Tafolla on Friday, February 12, 2016 at 10 a.m. Committal services and interment will be held at a local cemetery.
