RAMONA R. CONTRERAS
Ramona R. Contreras, 93, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, in Laredo, Texas.
Mrs. Contreras was born in Dressy, Texas and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Catarino and Juanita Arredondo Rodriguez.
Her beloved husband, Manuel Contreras.
Daughter, Elvira Avila Contreras.
She is survived by her children, Antonio (Alicia) Contreras, Maria Concepcion Contreras, Juanita (Victor) Diaz, Adela (John) Ahooei, Marina (John) Mentzos and Jesus (Ernestina) Contreras.
30 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Sister, Carlota Arredondo.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 6 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Southside Chapels, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy
. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 18, 2021. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Santo Niño Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
