RAMONA GARCIA

Ramona Garcia, 80, passed Thursday, December 25, 2025 in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Garcia was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Vicente Garcia and Josefina Ahumada.
Son, Edgar Francisco Garcia.
Sisters, Vilma Leal Ahumada and Georgina Zapata.

She is survived by her husband, Osvaldo Garcia.
Child, Aaron (Christina) Treviño.
Grandchildren, Aaron Treviño Jr., Albert Treviño, Rogelio R. Polendo, Nayeli Guerra, Diego Alfredo Guerra, Ana Delia Lerma, Maria Guadalupe Gualito, Janelle Samantha Garcia (Hector Ramirez), Edgar Francisco Garcia Jr., Ismael Edgar Garcia, Edward Raymond Garcia, Emily Garcia and Christopher Garcia.
Siblings, Guillermo Covarrubias, Alma (Felipe) Solis, Sara Alicia (Isidro) Nevarez, Elizabeth Garza (Jesus Perez), Lydia Veronica Sanchez, Esteban Covarrubias, Mauricio (Rosa Laura) Rodriguez and Daniel (Maria Lourdes) Rodriguez.

Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.

The family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to Mr. Mike Hernandez, Mr. and Mrs. Salazar and to the Casas Family.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2026. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
