Obituary

RAMONA LEYVA
Ramona Leyva, 84, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at a local hospital.
Mrs. Leyva was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Leyva.
Daughters, Elsa Margarita Leyva and Diana Elva Leyva Ambrose.
Brothers, Jesus Rodriguez, Juan Rodriguez, Ramon Rodriguez and Jose Rodriguez.
Sister, Guadalupe Garcia.
She is survived by her children, Manuel (Esmeralda) Leyva, Juan (Hilda) Leyva of Santa Fe, New Mexico, Sylvia (Daniel) Vedia, Leticia (Alfonso) Perales of Moorhead, Minnesota, Jose Luis (Maricela) Leyva, Jennifer Ambrose and Anthony Ambrose.
24 grandchildren, 62 great grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Sister, Maria Vellasaiz.
Brother, Apolinar Martinez.
Also surviving her are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8 a.m. on Monday, November 21, 2016 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
