RAMONA MARTINEZ

Ramona Martinez, 76, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024.

Mrs. Martinez was born in Santa Rosa, Texas and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, of 48 years of marriage, Jose Luis Martinez.

She is survived by her children, Patricia Garcia ( Eluterio), Maria Luisa Garza (Orlando), Jose Luis Martinez Jr. and Juanita Hernandez (Antonio).

Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Sisters, Alejandro Martinez, Maria de Los Angeles, Patricia, Gavina, Rosa and Carmen.

Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Holy Mass was celebrated at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Andrew Garcia, Fernando Barrera, J.J. Martinez, Orlando Garza Jr., Mathew Garcia, Victor Garza, Roberto Hernandez and Tito Garcia.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave.
