RAMONA PALACIOS Ramona Palacios, 86, Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at a local hospital. Mrs. Palacios was born in Candela, Coahuila Mexico and had been a resident of Laredo, Texas for most of her life. She is preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Tomasita Flores. Spouse, Jose M. Palacios. Daughter, San Juanita Palacios. Brother, Jesus Flores. She is survived by her children, Jose M. Palacios, Ramona Leticia (Hipolito) Serrato, Narcedalia (Jose P.) Ramirez, Imelda Irasema (Julian) Torres, Patricia (Simon) Solis, Ruben Palacios and Ana Laura (Guillermo) De Los Santos. 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Sisters, Florinda Lara and Hilaria Canales. A special heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff at La Esperanza Home Health Care, Veronica and Olivia, also at Doctors Hospital 3rd Floor Nurses, Ursula, Ruben, Susie and Dr. Espinoza for their undivided attention. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 15, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Southside Chapels, Loop 20 and a Zapata Hwy. Funeral services will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 12 p.m. at Sacred Heart Children's Home Chapel.
