Ramona U. Villarreal

Our precious mother, Ramona (Mona) Villarreal (nee Utterback), passed away on Friday, December 15th after a very sudden decline in her health. Mona was only 89 years of  age.

Mona devoted her life to her children Gilberto (Silvia) Villarreal Jr, Roberto  Villarreal, and Marisa (Fernando) Santos. Her grandchildren Patricia, Gilroberto,  Rosalia, Benjamin, Daniel, Isabel, Christina, Alejandra, Marissa and Daniella were her heart and soul,  and she felt very blessed to be able to love and cherish her dearest great grandchildren Lizbeth, Samantha, Sandra Grace, Valentina Isabel, Lucia Victoria,  Camila, Valeria, River and Nico. She leaves behind her baby brother, Robert (Diana)  Utterback, and dearest friend and sister-in-law, Teresa (Edward) Utterback. She was a  beloved Tia, Madrina, and Grandma Mona to many.

Mona is predeceased by her parents, Benjamin and Maria Dominga Utterback; Her  husband, Gilberto Villarreal; her siblings, Mary (Severo) Rodriguez, Daniel (Jean)  Utterback, Isabel (Leopoldo) Herrera, Jane (Alphonso) Belloc, Esther Utterback,  Carlos Utterback, Pedro Utterback, Eva Utterback, and Edward Utterback.

A Funeral Mass, celebrated  by Monsignor Harris, will be held at 9 a.m. at St. John Neumann Catholic Church on Saturday, December 23, 2023. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
