RAUL M. CASTILLO Raul M. Castillo, 78, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at a local hospital. Mr. Castillo was born in Dolores, Texas and had been a resident of Laredo most of his life. He is preceded in death by his parents Encarnacion and Isabel Castillo, by his son Roel Castillo, and by his brothers and sisters; Alejos Castillo, Jacinta Moreno, Paula Ibarra, Rosa Vasquez, Asencion Castillo, Guadalupe Castillo and Celestino Castillo. He is survived by his loving wife Marcelina Castillo. His three children: Juan Raul Castillo, Maria Elsa (Ricardo) Cuellar, Reymundo Castillo Jr. and his daughter-in-law: Virginia Castillo. He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. His brother; Juan Castillo. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 23, 2012 and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7:00 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:05 a.m. on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
