RAUL GARZA

Raul Garza, 83, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025.

Mr. Garza was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Anselma Garza.
Daughter, Angelita (Cesar) Carrera.
Brothers, Antonio Garza Jr., Arturo Garza and Alejandro Garza.
Sister, Angelita Peña.
He s survived by his loving wife, of 64 years of marriage, Angelita P. Garza.
Children, Teresa J. (Ernesto) Almaraz, Raul (Delia) Garza JR., Diana (Mauro) Lopez, Irene (Francisco) Chavez and Ricardo Gabriel (Zeferina) Garza.
15 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Sister, Ana Maria (Juan A.) Bustamante.
Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, September 8, 2025. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
PALLBEARERS: Julia Y. Carrera, Ricardo G. Garza, Raul Garza III, Juan A. Gonzalez, Michael Chavez , Alex Chavez, Leonardo Garza and Anthony Chavez.
