RAUL RIOS Raul Rios, 53, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at a local hospital. Mr. Rios was born in Nuevo Laredo Tamaulipas Mexico and had been a resident of Laredo for sometime. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Petra Rochel and Manuel Maldonado. by his paternal grandparents Josefa De La Cruz and Martin Rios. He is survived by his parents Eulalio and Enedina Rios. Children: Raul Jr., Roberto, Rogelio, Janet, Enedina, Guadalupe Iliana, and David. By his brothers and sisters: Juany (Carlos+) Maldonado, Eulalio (Ana) Rios Jr., Concepcion (Juan M.) Medina, Martin Rios, Gabriel (Veronica) Rios, Elsa (Juan F.) Davila. Also surviving him are grandchildren, in-laws numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 from 4 p.m.to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Southside Chapels, Loop 20 and Zapata Highway. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2014 departing from the Southside Chapel . Holy mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Santo Nino Mission. Committal services and interment will then follow at a local cemetery.
