RAYMOND S. "RAMON" NUNEZ SR. January 10, 1935 - November 13, 2011 Raymond Nunez Sr. or "Ramon" as he was known by all his family and friends passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at the age of 76. Mr. Nunez was born in San Diego, Texas and had been a resident of Laredo for most of his life. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed. Mr. Nunez was a long active worker in the Oil Fields for most of his life and he was also an active member at Iglesia Bautista Nuevo Nacimiento. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Guadalupe Nunez. Son, Jesus Ernesto Nunez. 3 brothers of San Diego, Texas, Seferino Nunez Sr., Jesus Nunez and Guadalupe Nunez. He is survived by his loving wife, Delfina Nunez. Sons, Ramon (Delia) Nunez Jr., Daniel Nunez, Noe (Sonia) Nunez, Abel Nunez and Roel Nunez. Daughters, Laura I. Nunez, Brenda L. Cisneros, Linda T. (Rogelio) Macias and Sandra (Angel) Garza. 18 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Also nieces, nephews, numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. with a chapel service officiated by Pastor Sauce of Iglesia Bautista Nuevo Nacimiento. Committal services and interment will immediately follow in the Laredo City Cemetery
