RAYMUNDO SERNA Raymundo Serna, 42, passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at a local hospital. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria G. Serna Brothers, Fernando Serna and Eradio Efren Serna Jr. His is survived by his father, Eradio Efren (Juanita) Serna, Sr. Brothers, Evaristo (Alicia) Serna, Bernardo B. (Joann) Serna, Jose Maria (Olga) Serna, Francisco Antonio (Patricia) Serna, Rolando Serna and Ana Luna, and Pedro (Lourdes) Serna. Sisters, Beatriz Serna, Sandra Serna and Fernanda Serna Goddaughter, Jaqueline Serna Also numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives including uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends. Special thank you to the Gloria, Casarez, Leal and Gonzalez families. Also a special gratitude to Cristina Gloria, Beto Gonzalez, Monsignor Davis and Pastor Juan Garza. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Southside Chapel, Loop 20 Zapata Hwy. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church. Committal services will be held on a later date.
