REBECA RUIZ
Rebeca Ruiz, 82, passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018 in Houston, Texas.
Mrs. Ruiz was born in Rodriguez, N.L. Mexico and was a lifelong resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Tomas and Carmen Barrera.
Her beloved husband, Antonio Ruiz Jr.
Brother, Tomas Barrera Jr. and sister Olga Elena Bravo.
She is survived by her children, Antonio Gerardo (Sofia) Ruiz, Perla Elizabeth Ruiz and Norma Idalia (Miguel) Santoyo.
(7) Grandchildren; Antonio Gerardo Ruiz Jr., Stephanie (Eduardo) Silva, Lorena Lizzette Ruiz, Miguel Angel (anna Karen) Santoyo, Sergio Antonio (Ana Karen) Santoyo, Rebecca Santoyo, Norma Krystel Santoyo and Norma Krystel Santoyo.
(2) great-grandchildren Scarlett Rose Silva and Judah Samuel Santoyo.

Brother, Alfredo Barrera.

Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons East Chapel, 4500 Thomas Ave.
Funeral services will depart at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home chapel on Thursday, March 8, 2018. A Holy Mass will be celebrated at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
