REBECCA ALICIA MAGANA Rebecca Alicia Magana, 57, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at a local hospital. Mrs. Magana was born in Gary, Indiana but had been a lifelong resident of Laredo. She is preceded in death by her mother Andrea P. Estrada and by her brother Rodolfo I. Estrada. She is survived by her loving husband Ruben Magana Sr. Her sons and daughters: Belinda (Albert) Martinez, Ruben (Lorena) Magana Jr., Vanessa (Miguel) Rios and Rene (Brenda) Magana. Grandchildren; Belinda Solis and Ruben Solis; Ruben, Rudy, Ruben III and Rebekah Magana; Mikey, Marcos, Bob and Faith Rios and R.J. Magana. Great-grandson: Christopher Flores Jr. Her father: Genaro Estrada Her Brothers and Sisters: Alma Diana (Antonio) Carranza, Sandra (Carlos) Martinez, Rene G. (Lucy) Estrada and Carlos (Betsy) Estrada. Sister-in-law: Francis Estrada. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 13, 2011 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral Services will begin Monday morning November 14, 2011 at 8:05 a.m. departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
