Refugio Chavez's Obituary
REFUGIO CHAVEZ
Refugio Chavez, 88, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2016, at a local hospital.
Mr. Chavez was born in Matehuala, S.L.P., Mexico and had been a Long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Arnulfo and Reyes P. Chavez.
Brothers, Angel Chavez and Francisco Chavez.
He is survived by his loving wife, Enedina Chavez.
Children, Efren (Maria) Chavez, Elena (Inez) De Luna, Eduardo Chavez, Ernesto (Sylvia) Chavez, Refugio Chavez Jr. and Juan Chavez .
Six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Sister, Maria Cordova.
Brother, Pedro Chavez.
Also surviving him are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral Services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
