REFUGIO GARCIA Refugio Garcia, 94, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2012 at a local hospital. Mr. Garcia was born in Lockhart, Texas and had been a resident of Laredo for sometime. He is preceded in death by her parents, Andres Garcia and Domitila Padilla. Sons, Refugio Garcia and Santos Garcia. Daughter, Josefa Garcia. Grandson, Lee Roy Garcia. Sisters, Feliz Campillo, Josefa Villegas, Filomena Guerrro. Brother, Lazaro Garcia. He is survived by his wife, Elisa V. Garcia. Children, Emilio (Guadalupe) Garcia, Refugio (Guadalupe) Garcia Jr., Juan (Argelia) Garcia, Andrea (Eduard, dec'd Cruz, Francisca (Guadalupe) Hernandez, Victoria (Israel, dec'd) Montemayor, Guadalupe (Senaida) Garcia, Elisa (Ramiro) Cortez, Domitila (Jose) Gomez, Dolores (Daniel) Romero, Rosa Garcia, Dora Alicia Martinez, Delfino Garcia, San Juana Garcia, Humberto Garcia and Gerardo Garcia. Daughter-in-Law, Carmelia Garcia. Son-in-Law Osman Espinoza. Brother, Luis Garcia. Sisters, Victoria Huerta and Antonia (Agustin) Espinoza. Also surviving him are grandchildren, great-grandchildren, numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
