REFUGIO TOVAR SR. Refugio Tovar Sr., 73, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2015 in Laredo, Texas. Mr. Tovar Sr. was born in Zacatecas, Mex. and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas. He is preceded in death by his daughter Maria Teresa Tovar. Parents, Felix and Tomasa Tovar and Sister, Matilde Tovar. He is survived by his loving wife, Maria C. Tovar. Sons and daughters, Maria Guadalupe Tovar, Frances-Alejandro Ruiz, Gloria Tovar, Juan Francisco Tovar, Maribel (Hector) De Leon and Refugio (Perla Ivette) Tovar. Six Grandchildren. Brothers and Sisters, Ignacio Tovar, Celia Tovar, Amelia Tovar, Domitilo Tovar, Jose Leon Tovar, Baudelio Tovar, Basilio Tovar and Alfredo Tovar. Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2015 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapel, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral Services will begin at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at St. Jude Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
