RENATO SILVA GONZALEZ Renato Silva Gonzalez,79, passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2011 in Laredo, Texas. Mr. Gonzalez was born in Mercedes, Texas and had been a lifelong resident of Laredo. He is preceded in death by his brother Eduardo Gonzalez and by his parents Severiano Gonzalez and Anita S. Gonzalez. He is survived by his loving wife: Cleotilde C. Gonzalez. By his son Jose Angel (Lourdes) Gonzalez. Step-son; Hector Bernal. Grandchildren; Jodie Gonzalez, Joseph Gonzalez and Joanna Gonzalez. His sisters; Sylvestra (Jose +) Ybanez of San Antonio, Texas and Dolores (Guadalupe) Ayala of Houston, Texas. Also surviving him are nephews, nieces, numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 3, 2011 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin Tuesday morning October 4, 2011 departing from the funeral home Chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Interment will be held at a later date.
