Rene Vargas

Our hearts are broken by the passing of our beloved husband and father Rene Vargas 64, on July 9, 2025. Rene's kind heart warm smile, and unwavering love for his family will forever be etched in our memories. He was a pillar of strength and support and we will miss him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roberto and Margarita Vargas
Brother, Roberto Vargas Jr.
Nephew, Ramiro Torres III.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife, Ana Isabel Vargas.
Son, Rene Vargas Jr.
Brother, Ricardo Vargas.
Sisters, Margarita (Armando+) Morales, and Rosa Elva (Rosalio) Herrera.

Also surviving him are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Rosary to be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St, on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, July 18, 2025.  Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at San Francisco Javier Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WILL BE: Rene Vargas Jr., Henry Pedraza, Jaime Monsivais, Samuel Amaya Jr., Ricardo Vargas, Rosalio Herrera, Armando Morales Jr. and Andres Morales.

HONORARY PALLBEARER WILL BE: Derrick Angel Santillan.
