REYMUNDO GONZALEZ Reymundo Gonzalez, 67, passed away on Monday, July 15, 2013 in Plano Texas. Mr. Gonzalez lived in Laredo for all of his life. He graduated from Martin High School in 1964 and later graduated from Laredo Community College in 1975 with an Associates Degree in Applied Science. He served in the U.S. Army and was in active duty during the Korean Conflict and he was honorably discharged in 1971. Later on he worked for the U.S. Customs for 30 years and retired in January 2006. Most recently he worked for the U.S. Marshals as a Court Security Officer. He is preceded on death by his parents Edmundo and Guadalupe Gonzalez. Brother, Hipolito Gonzalez. Sister, Geraldine Gonzalez Maternal Grandmother, Irene Nunez He is survived by his sons Reymundo Pedro (Margarita) Gonzalez Jr. and Rene Gerardo Gonzalez. Former Wife, Jane Castellano Grandchildren, Reymundo Pedro Gonzalez III, Tatyanna S. Gonzalez, Trynitee M. Gonzalez, Gabriela N. Gonzalez, John Garcia, and Greg Garcia. Brothers, Santiago Gonzalez, Jose Rodolfo Gonzalez, Edmundo Gonzalez Jr., Victor Gonzalez. Also surviving are his nephews, nieces, other relatives and numerous friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 19, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chaples, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
