Reynaldo "Ray" Valdez
Reynaldo "Ray" Valdez, born on October 1, 1961, in Laredo, TX, passed away surrounded by
the love of his family, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, strength, and unconditional
love.
Known for always having a smile on his face, Reynaldo had a gift for making others
laugh. He loved joking around and could brighten any room with his humor and positive
energy. No matter what someone was facing, he always had words of encouragement
and kindness to give.
A devoted registered nurse, Reynaldo dedicated his life to caring for others with
compassion, patience, and kindness. He took great pride in helping those in need and
touched the lives of many through his work and the genuine care he showed to every
person he encountered.
Reynaldo was a huge fan of Superman and carried that same strong spirit and loving
heart throughout his life. He enjoyed watching football, basketball, and UFC fights and
loved spending time cheering on his favorite teams and fighters with family and friends.
He also loved fashion and took pride in always staying in style. Whether he was ordering
new American Eagle outfits or buying another pair of Converse shoes, it seemed like
every week there was either a package arriving at the house or shopping bags coming
home from the mall. Looking good and feeling confident was part of who he was.
More than anything, Reynaldo will be remembered for the love he gave so freely, the
laughter he shared, and the unforgettable memories he created with those around him.
His presence brought comfort, joy, and strength to so many people, and his memory will
continue to live on through his children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, family, and
friends forever.
Reynaldo was preceded in death by his parents, Enrique Valdez Jr and Minerva and his
son Reynaldo Valdez Jr.
