RICARDA VILLARREAL Ricarda Villarreal, 91, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2013 at a local hospital. Mrs. Villarreal was born in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon Mexico and had been a resident of Laredo, Texas for most of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ricardo Villarreal C. Daughter-in-Law, Olga M. De Villarreal. She is survived by her Children, Sylvia Villarreal, Javier (Celina) Villarreal, Rosalinda Cruz, Yolanda (Jose Luis) Gaona, Mireya Villarreal and Miguel Villarreal. Also surviving her are grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Sister, Juventina Saucedo Vda. De Cantu. Also surviving her are nephews, nieces, numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez & Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 24, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Committal services will be held at a later date.
