RICARDO "TAMBA" HERNANDEZ Ricardo "TAMBA" Hernandez, 63, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2011 at a local nursing home. Mr. Hernandez was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Margarita Hernandez Sr. He is survived by his wife, Diana Olga Hernandez. Children, Diana Olga (Javier) Contreras, Ricardo (Maricela) Hernandez and Alfredo (Margarita) Hernandez. 11 Grandchildren. 11 brothers and sisters, Margarita H. Perieda, Francisco (Minerva) Hernandez Jr., Arturo G. Hernandez, Rosaura H. (Roberto) Volpe, Yolanda (Victor) Segura, George (Mercedes) Hernandez Sr., Miguel Angel (Margarita) Hernandez Sr. Jaime Hernandez, Guadalupe P. (Carlos) Becerra, Jose Luis (Sandra) Hernandez Sr. and Gerardo Javier (Sandra) Hernandez Sr. Also numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2011 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow at a local cemetery.
