ROBERTO ESPARZA

Roberto Esparza, 65, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025 in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Esparza was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a lifelong resident.

He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and a man of great faith. He was a wonderful story teller joyful, in fact his friends referred to him most of the time as "The Joker", he was and avid fisherman enjoyed life to the fullest.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Hortencia Esparza.
Brother, Samuel Esparza Jr.
Sister, Genara Esparza Salinas.

He is survived by his loving wife, of 45 years of marriage, Ana L. Esparza.
Children, Roberto (Lucy) Esparza Jr., Gilbert (Mikki) Esparza, Ricardo (Ludivina) Esparza and Kimberly Ann Esparza.
Grandchildren, Roberto Esparza, III., Gabriel Esparza, Giovanni Esparza, Gianna Esparza, Levi Esparza, Nolan Esparza, Gabriel Esparza, Emiliano Esparza and Erick Esparza.
Siblings, Marcelina (Pedro Jr.+) Molina, Dora (Pablo) Peche, Juan Jose (Candelaria) Esparza, Isabel (Guadalupe David+) De Luna and Eduardo (Violeta) Esparza.
Brothers and sisters- in-laws, Rodolfo Barraza, Hugo (Gabbie) Barraza, Jose (Dalia) Barraza, Roberto Barraza, Leticia (Daniel) Avila and Diana Barraza.

Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, March 13, 2025 departing from the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Holy Mass was celebrated at St. Jude Catholic Church. Committal services will follow at a later date.
