ROBERTO "PRIETO" ROMANOS GARZA
Roberto "Prieto" Romanos Garza, 84, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at a local hospital.
Mr. Romanos Garza was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Tomasa Garza.
Son, Roberto Garza Jr.
Sister, Natividad Vazquez.
He is survived by his loving wife, Maria A. Garza.
Children, Rosana G. (Armando) Rodriguez, Maria Laura (Arturo) Fuentes and Luis (Betty) Garza.
Five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Brother, Antonio Garza Jr.
Sisters, Rose Williams and Briseida (Joe) Castillo.
Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 30, 206 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
