Obituary

ROBERTO HERNANDEZ

Roberto Hernandez, 86, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Roberto "Robe" Hernandez was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and had been a life-long resident of Laredo, Texas.

He graduated from Martin High School. He then enrolled in the Army and was part of the National Guard. Roberto was a second generation printer and was the owner of the Laredo Printing Co.

He enjoyed a great game of golf and was part of the Laredo Casa Blanca Golf community. He enjoyed playing as much as he enjoyed winning several golf tournaments. He traveled Mexico to participate in golf tournaments in Saltillo, Monterrey, and many other cities throughout Texas.

He was respected by his peers and people really enjoyed his well-mannered and humble attitude. Some called him the life of the party. He enjoyed his life-long partner and wife, Juanita Garza Hernandez. They won many Halloween contests where he played the role of a great Elvis Presley. He was a great role model for all his kids and grandkids.

He also enjoyed the great outdoors and hunting and fishing. He enjoyed going to Lake Casa Blanca every Sunday with family and friends.

He will forever be part of our memories.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carmelo and Maria de Jesus Hernandez.
