Obituary

ROBERTO SANTOS JR.
Roberto Santos Jr., 67, passed away on April 24, 2018 at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.
Roberto graduated from Martin High School and received his college degree from Technologico de Monterrey, Mexico. He played for the Borrego Football Team, where they won the National Championship. He was the football Coach at Martin High School, United High School, Trautmann and Tarver Elementary Schools. He was also the Aquatics Supervisor for the City of Laredo, Texas.
Coach Santos is survived by his two children, Selina (Nathan) Warnecke and Robert Michael (Lucy) Santos; his sisters, Marta Santos, Magdalena and Jose Ramirez, Leticia and Sergio Palizo and extended family in U.S. and Mexico.
Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 27, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons East Chapel, 4500 Thomas Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:30 a.m.on Saturday, April 28, 2018. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
