ROBERTO LOPEZ MARTINEZ SR. Roberto Lopez Martinez Sr., 63, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2012 in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas Mexico. Mr. Lopez was born in Rodriguez, Nuevo Leon Mexico and had been a resident of Laredo for sometime. He is preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Gloria Lopez. He is survived by his children, Roberto (Mayra) Lopez Jr., San Juanita (Ricardo) Arzamendi, Manuel (Bertha) Lopez and Carlos (Arlen) Lopez. 7 grandchildren. Siblings, Eduardo (Dolores) Lopez, Sergio (Yolanda) Lopez and Teresa (Modesto) Alcala, Natividad Aguilar, Astolfo Lopez, Manuel Gilberto Lopez, Hilda Benavides and Margil Lopez. Also surviving him are numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2012 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:05 a.m. on Friday, September 7, 2012 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
