RODOLFO "RUDY" SALDIVAR
Rodolfo "Rudy" Saldivar, 75, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 in Austin, Texas.
Mr. Saldivar was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a resident of Austin, Texas.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, Honorably Discharged in 1965, and a veteran of the U. S. Navy, in which he served as a Supervisory Teletypist, as well as a veteran of the U. S. Air Force, stationed in Laredo, Texas.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Andres and Leonor Saldivar.
Brothers, Eduardo Saldivar , Gilberto Saldivar and Jose Saldivar.
Brother-in-Law, Raymundo S. Flores.
Sister-in-Law, Antonia Saldivar.
He is survived by his daughter, Marta Laura (Mike) Ansley.
Granddaughter, Mara Elaina Ansley.
Brothers, Andres Saldivar Jr. and Aurelio (Virginia) Saldivar.
Sister, Norma S. Flores.
Also surviving him are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
