ROSA ANGELICA LOPEZ

Rosa Angelica Lopez, 55, passed away surrounded by her family in Houston,Texas.

Mrs. Lopez was born and raised in Laredo, she had moved to Houston, Texas before returning back home.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her father Pablo Contreras and her mother Rosa Angelica Martinez De Contreras, her niece and nephews, Michelle Lizette Contreras, Jose Luis Contreras and Pablo Juan Gilberto Rangel, grandniece; Gianna Alexandra Mata.

She is survived husband of over 23 years Armando Ortiz Lopez.

Her children, Brenda Yvette (Ricardo Valdez) Diaz, Jose Esfrain Diaz and Armando Filiberto Lopez.

Grandson; Rafael Valdez.

Her siblings, Luis Rey (Marisela) Contreras, Emma (Ernesto) Perez, Melissa (Ramiro) Sandoval, Julia (Jimmy) Faughn, Pablo (Elizabeth) Contreras, Adriana (Rogelio) Mata\ and Israel (Yvette) Contreras.

Sisters and brothers-in-law: Victoria Lazo, Josefina Mendoza, Alonzo Perez and Jose Rangel.

Also surviving her are nieces, nephews, numerous other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Friday, August Thursday, August 10, 2023 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave. Holy Mass was celebrated at Santa Rita De Casia Catholic Church. Committal services will be held at a later date.

Pallbearers were: Jose Esfrain Diaz, Israel Conteras, Andres Guadalupe Villarreal III, Armando Filiberto Lopez, Pedro Cesar Cuevas, Ramiro Sandoval, Armando Lopez and Daniel Vicente Rangel.
