ROSA L. GARCIA
Rosa L. Garcia, age 69, was born in Laredo, Texas on December 18, 1950, went to be with our Lord on Friday, December 11, 2020 was married to the love of her life, Raul Garcia+, on February 1, 1969. Rosa worked and retired from Webb County and was very active in local politics and community work. One may see it as a tragedy but it is a moment of serendipity, now that she has rejoiced with her soul mate looking over us.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raul Garcia.
Son, Raul Garcia Jr.
Father, Francisco Mancha Sr.
Mother, Juanita N. Mancha.
Brothers, Javier Mancha, Juan J. Mancha, Jorge L. Mancha, Francisco Mancha Jr. and George R. Mancha.
She is survived by her children, Cynthia (Claudio) Martinez, Ruben (Cynthia G.) Garcia, Rogelio (Celina) Garcia and Roel Garcia.
Grandchildren, Elijah A. Garcia, Rolando A. Moreno, Carla A. Moreno, Nicolas E. Tijerina, Destiny L. Garcia, Rebecca A. Garcia, Isabella N. Garcia, Sienna N. Garcia, Katelynn N. Garcia, Rogelio R. Garcia, Alexis G. Martinez, Chloe E. Martinez and Kevin G. Martinez.
Siblings, Roberto (Diana) Mancha, Maria M. (Francisco) Galvan, Gilberto (Diana) Mancha and Josefina (Lilian Olvera) Casarez.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Following the Ordinance by the State of Texas, visitations will be limited to 40 people inside our funeral home.
It is preferred for minor children not be allowed to attend services.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 18, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 9 a.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2020. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at Nuestra Señora Del Rosario Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
