ROSA R. LARA Rosa R. Lara, 79, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at a local hospital. Mrs. Lara was born in Candela, Coahuila Mexico and had been a resident of Laredo, Texas for most of her life. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years of marriage, Juan Lara Munoz who passed away on September 6, 1995. She is survived by her children, Eleuteria (Gumaro Ramirez) Lara, Juan (Magda Lara) Lara, Jr., Ana Maria Lara, Hilda B. Lara, Rosa (Manuel Cadena) Cadena, Griselda Lara, Pedro Lara, Delia (Johnny Sanchez) Sanchez and Jorge (Anabel Lara) Lara. 17 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Also surviving her are numerous brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, In-laws, numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons East Chapel, 4500 Thomas Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m at San Vicente De Paul Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
