ROSA DEL CARMEN ROCHA
Rosa Del Carmen Rocha, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2020, at the age of 76, at a nursing home, in Laredo, Texas.
Ms. Rocha is preceded in death by her parents, Jose Timoteo Estrada and Dolores Lopez.
She will be remembered as a selfless and devoted mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and nurse. Having worked at Mercy Hospital as a License Vocational Nurse, for over 15 years, she always gave her absolute best even during the most trying of times. Her unquestionable character, self-assuredness and strong nature were constant throughout her entire life and all that she did. She had an unwavering inner strength that allowed her to always look towards the future. She loved and gave of herself at every moment and nothing could rob her of who she was – always marvelous until the day she was called home to be with our Lord.
She will be deeply missed and always remembered with boundless love and gratitude by her three surviving daughters, Rosie Silva, Ana Laura (Sam) Moreno, Veronica (Joel) Garcia; along with her beautiful granddaughters, Cindy Santos, Crystal Garza, Selina Santos, Alejandra Santos, Samantha Moreno, Kiara Garcia, Alessandra Garcia and her great granddaughter, Harmony Garza, as well as her loving sisters and brothers, Maria (Humberto) Solano, Lucy Estrada, Dolores (Adolfo) Rodriguez, Jose Luis (Rosio) Estrada, Manuel Estrada, Jose Timoteo (Soledad) Estrada and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
The family has made a difficult decision to postpone funeral services in lieu of a celebration of life memorial which will be held at a later date, at their discretion.
Rosa del Carmen Rocha, fallecio el jueves 16 de julio de 2020 a la edad de 76 años en una residencia de ancianos en Laredo, TX.
Rosa será recordada como una madre, hermana, abuela, bisabuela, tía y enfermera devota. Después de haber trabajado en el Hospital de la Merced como enfermera vocacional durante más de 15 años, siempre dio lo mejor de sí, incluso en los momentos más difíciles. Su carácter especial, su seguridad en sí misma y su naturaleza fuerte fueron una constante a lo largo de su vida y en todo lo que hizo.
Tenía una fuerza interior inquebrantable que le permitía mirar siempre hacia el futuro. Ella se entregaba de sí misma en todo momento y nada podía despojarla de quién era, siempre maravillosa hasta el día en que fue llamada a la casa del Señor.
La extrañarán profundamente y siempre recordado con mucho amor y gratitude sus tres hijas sobrevivientes, Rosie Silva, Ana Laura (Sam) Moreno y Verónica (Joel) García la recordarán con infinito amor; sus nietas Cindy Santos, Crystal Garza, Selina Santos, Alejandra Santos, Samantha Moreno, Kiara Garcia, Alessandra Garcia, y su bisnieta Harmony Garza, así como sus hermanas, y hermanos amados, Maria (Humberto) Solano, Lucy Estrada, Dolores (Adolfo) Rodriguez, Jose Luis (Rosio) Estrada, Manuel Estrada, Jose Timoteo (Soledad) Estrada, sobrinas, sobrinos y mas familiares.
La familia tomó la difícil decisión de posponer los servicios funerarios en lugar de una celebración del monumento a la vida que se realizará en una fecha posterior.
