Rosa Maria
Rodriguez
d. Apr 4, 2021
ROSA MARIA RODRIGUEZ
Rosa Maria Rodriguez entered peacefully into heavenly and eternal rest on April 4, 2021. Born on February 12, 1945. She led a life that was rich in love and affection among all those that had the pleasure of knowing her. Remembered fondly as one of the original "Pitas" among family, she leaned into her life with a contagious laugh and joie de vivre that will evermore be a source of inspiration to those closest to her. Never one to leave home without looking "bien giti," she always donned a lipstick smile that was as genuine as it was warm and welcoming. She was a very curious and inquisitive listener, having mastered the art of "la platica" with all those who shared her willingness to story-tell. Her defining legacy will undoubtedly be her grandchildren who, with pride, she lovingly treasured. She worked as a paraprofessional for the Laredo Independent School District for 22 years and received numerous Certificates of Appreciations and enjoyed her students but had to retire to care for her mother, Guadalupe Saenz. Our world is forever changed without her in it, but her unique essence will remain within us as a loving tribute and testament of our shared time together before going home to be with our Lord. She is preceded in death Daniel G. (Jerry) Saenz, Brother; Guadalupe R. Saenz, Mother; Ramiro Rodriguez Jr., Son; Rodolfo Saenz, Brother; Humberto Saenz, Brother.
She is survived by Rene Rodriguez son, and Rosie daughter ( Manuel) Sauceda.
7 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren.
Numerous other relatives and many friends.
