ROSA ELIA SANCHEZ
Rosa Elia Sanchez, devoted wife, beloved mother of four, and grandmother of twelve is now resting in peace in the arms of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Rosa Elia, 79, was born May 7, 1944 in Nuevo Laredo Tamaulipas. She died peacefully Surrounded by her family on Wednesday, February 14, 2024.
Rosa Elia will be lovingly remembered and missed by her family especially by the love of her life her husband of 56 years of marriage Jose Arnoldo Sanchez.
Left to treasure her memory are their children, Arnoldo Sanchez (Guadalupe), Adriana Sanchez
Cantu (Lazaro), Ana Laura Sanchez McHugh (John), and Alberto Sanchez.
Rosa Elia will also be fondly remembered by her twelve grandchildren, Samantha, Arnoldo Jr., Andres, Sebastian, Abraham, Daniel, Isidro, Gaby, John Patrick, Victoria, Thomas John, and Derek Alberto.
She will also be greatly missed by her siblings (Silvia Casiano Sanchez, Juan Pablo Sanchez, Susana Moreno, Wenceslao Sanchez), nieces, nephews, and numerous other relatives and many friends.
Rosa Elia was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Inez Sanchez and Susana Gomez de Sanchez.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, February 17, 2024 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Holy mass was celebrated at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
PALLBEARERS WERE: Arnoldo Sanchez, Alberto Sanchez, John Mchugh, Lozano Cantu, Arnold Sanchez, Abraham Cantu and Daniel Cantu.
HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Juan Pablo Sanchez, Wenceslao Sanchez and Andy Sanchez.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Funeral Chapels, located at 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave.
