ROSA MARIA SANTOS

Rosa Maria Santos, 80, passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2021.

Mrs. Santos was born in Lampazos, N.L., Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Trinidad and Maria de los Angeles Arriaga.

Son, Rolando Santos.

She is survived by her loving husband, of 61 years of marriage, Alvino Santos.

Children, Alvino (Alicia) Santos Jr., David (Maria Soto) Santos, Ramiro (Carmen) Santos, Consuelo Santos (Jose Alfredo Jimenez) and Raquel Santos (Jose Vasquez).

21 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

Siblings, Antonietta (Pedro) Alva, Diamantina Olivo, Hilda (Remigio) Cisneros, Maria de los Angeles Flores and Raul Arriaga.

Also surviving her are numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.

The Family would like to mention their utmost gratitude to Dr. Ricardo Cigarroa and Staff and the Laredo Medical Center nurses of the 3rd floor for the services and care provided.

Following the State Law, visitation will be limited to 40 people inside our funeral home.

It is preferred for minor children not be allowed to attend services.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons,  Southside Chapel, 2501 Ligarde Street . Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2021. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Santo Nino Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
