ROSALINDA BENAVIDES
Rosalinda M. Benavides passed away on Wednesday, June 06, 2018 in a local hospital.
She was born in General Trevino, Nuevo Leon and had been a resident of Laredo most of her life.
Being a dedicated housewife and parent she ensured that her children became contributing members of our community, educated professionals and faithful Catholics.
Her never ending words of encouragement to her beloved grandchildren will never be forgotten.
Rosalinda is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Deacon Faustino Benavides.
Beloved son, Faustino A. Benavides.
Parents, Florencio and Ninfa Maldonado.
Brother, Rigoberto Maldonado.
She is survived by her son, Alberto (Irma) Benavides.
Daughters, Rosalinda Benavides and Claudia Ivette Benavides.
Grandchildren, Albert Benavides, Jr., Noe Ivan Benavides, Erika Lizette Benavides and Kendra Gisselle Benavides.
Siblings, Jose Roel (Narce) Maldonado and Dalia (Pedro) Garza.
Also surviving her are nephews, nieces, numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 07, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 9:30 a.m on Friday, June 08, 2018.
Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
