RUBEN NUÑEZ
Ruben Nuñez has gone too soon, at the age of 55, on Saturday, August 7, 2021.
Mr. Nuñez graduated from Martin High School, in 1985, which is also where he began dating his wife, Rosa I. Nuñez, with whom he spent 39 years together including 28 years of marriage. Family was the most important thing to Mr. Nuñez. He was a proud dance and cheer dad and loved spending time with his mother and many siblings. He was employed at Kowalsky, Rose & Company P.C. for 33 years and will be dearly missed by all those who came to know him.
He is preceded in death by his father, José Juan Nuñez.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Rosa I. Nuñez, his daughter, Natalee Cuevas, his son-in-law, Eduardo Cuevas Jr., and his future grandson. He is also survived by his mother, Soledad Nuñez; his siblings, José Juan (Teresa) Nuñez Jr., Gilberto (San Juanita) Nuñez, Elizabeth (Vidal) Velasquez, Sylvia (Raymond) Lopez, Roberto (Sandra) Nuñez, and Sharon Nuñez; and his nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, August 11, 2021.
Holy Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Information with regards to the funeral service departure time and Holy Mass hour may be obtained by calling (956) 723-2979.
