RUMALDO A. PARRA
Rumaldo A. Parra, 82, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Parra had been an employee of the City of Laredo, as a Heavy machine operator for over 42 years of service. He retired and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents Mr. and Mrs. Guillermo Parra and Aurelia Parra, by his grandson, Gabriel Salas, his twin brother, Ricardo Parra and by his other siblings, Gilberto Parra, Catalina De La Rosa, Cleotilde Rodriguez, Apolonio Parra, Guadalupe Parra and Panfilo Parra.
He is survived by his loving wife of over 63 years of marriage Margarita G. Parra.
By his daughter; Alicia Parra Salas.
Grandchildren, Miquel Angel (Perla) Salas, Chelsey N. Salas and Karen L. Salas and several other grandchildren.
Brothers; Guillermo (Celia) Parra Jr., Juanita (Teofilo) Gonzalez and Lydia Parra.
Also, surviving him are numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 5, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Rosary will be officiated at 7:00 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2023 from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal Services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 6, 2023 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave. Holy Mass was celebrated at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal Services and interment followed in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
PALLBEARERS WERE: Javier Parra, Juan Gonzalez, Miguel Angel Salas Jr., Pete Amaro, Rumaldo Parra, Jessie Parra, Jerry Soliz and J.J. Soliz.
HONORARY PALLBEARERS WERE: Rosa Veliz and German Soliz.
