Ruth Elma Palacios' Obituary
RUTH ELMA PALACIOS
Ruth Elma Palacios, 58, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022 at a local hospital.
Ms. Palacios was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a lifelong resident.
She was employed with Cantu Electric Company for over 30 years before retiring.
She is preceded in death by her father, Eulalio Rolando Palacios.
Paternal grandfather, Luis E. Palacios Sr.
Paternal grandmother, Eva B. (Jose T.) Vergara.
Maternal Grandparents, Fortunato and Elena Mireles.
She is survived by her mother, Ofelia Mireles Palacios.
Siblings, Rolando E. (Anabertha) Palacios, Roxanna E. Palacios, Rosalinda E. P. (Jose Alberto) Ledesma Sr. and Rene E. (Cecilia) Palacios.
Nieces and nephews, Reynaldo E. Palacios, Luis E. Palacios II., Rolando E. Palacios III., Jose A. (Minerva) Ledesma Jr., Jaime A. Ledesma, Javier A. Ledesma and Fatima Palacios.
Grandnieces and nephews, "her pride and joy", Isaiah Palacios, Khloe Palacios, Jaden Ledesma and Jose A. Ledesma III.
Her closest friends, Juanita Huerta and Maribel Rodriguez.
Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends.
The Family would like to give their utmost gratitude to The Hope Kidney Care Clinic, Ambuline Services, Care Guardian Home Health, LMC and the ICU Staff for the special care they provided.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 departing from the
Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave.
Holy Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services will be held on a later date.
PALLBEARERS WERE: Rolando E. Palacios Jr., Jose A. Ledesma, Reynaldo E. Palacios, Luis E. Palacios II, Jose A. Ledesma Jr., Jaime A. Ledesma, Rolando E. Palacios III, Javier A. Ledesma and Rene E. Palacios.
