Obituary

RUTH VILLAGRAN
Ruth Villagran, 95, passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020, in Laredo, Texas.
Mrs. Villagran was born in Chicago, Illinois and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Catarino and Guadalupe Villagran.
Sons, Jose Luis Martinez (2011) and Jose C. Martinez (2014).
Sister, Maria C. Perez.
Brother, Daniel Villagran.
She is survived by her children, Sara (Julian) Galarza, Jose A. Martinez, Graciela (Fernando) Garcia and Humberto (Sandra) Martinez.
15 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Sister, Francisca Villagran.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Following the Ordinance by the State of Texas, visitations will be limited to 40 people inside our funeral home.
It is preferred for minor children not be allowed to attend services.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
