SAMUEL JAIMEZ SR.
Samuel Jaimez Sr., 90, of Laredo, Texas passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021, surrounded by close family and friends.
It is with profound sadness and much love that we mourn the passing of our loving, wonderful and amazing father, Samuel Jaimez, Sr. God granted his wings this past Sunday, August 8, 2021. He was surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Samuel enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He especially loved and enjoyed spending as much time with his grand children as possible. On his relaxation time, he loved listening to the music of "Los Panchos." A man of Faith!!! every single day he began his day with prayers at 6:00 a.m. He was a long standing Pilar of La Trinidad United Methodist Church. With his humble beginnings, Samuel excelled to be a courageous, noble God fearing family man. He will be missed by all who had come to know him.
He is preceded in death by his son, Daniel Jaimez.
Father, Juan Jaimez Sr. and his mother, Timotea Jaimez.
Siblings, Angela Diaz, Evangelina Valero, Francisco Jaimez and Zacarias Jaimez.
Mr. Jaimez will forever and lovingly be remembered by his surviving wife, of 54 years of marriage, Mariana Jaimez.
Children, Mario Aguilar, Maurilio (Marty) Aguilar, Ofie Lizette Barrera, Samuel (Elsa) Jaimez Jr.
Grandchildren, Edgar Barrera, Andre (Kelly) Barrera, Katherine Jaimez, Alexandra Jaimez, Victoria Jaimez, Austin Aguilar, Justin Aguilar and Alyson Aguilar.
Sisters, Maria (Rogelio) de la Rosa, Raquel (Armando) Zamarripa and Martha Jaimez.
Brothers, Esteban (Senovia) Jaimez, Isaac (Genoveva) Jaimez and Juan (Josefina) Jaimez.
We are grateful for the excellent services provided by all doctors and nurses at Laredo Doctor's Hospital including Dr. Milton Haber, Dr. Carlos Cigarroa, Dr. Rafael Deliz and Dr. Maria Regalado.
Our much loved Dad gave us faith, courage, hope and love and always reminded us of the Greatness of God and the preciousness of life.
A celebration of life service will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021, beginning with visitations, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a religious service, to be held at 7 p.m., in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave
. A religious service will be held at 9 a.m. in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, August 14, 2021. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
PALLBEARERS WERE: Edgar Barrera, Euido Barrera, Mario Aguilar, Marty Aguilar, Isaac Jaimez, and Juan Jaimez.
