She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Juan M. Ferdin Sr.

Grandson, Gilbert Peña.

Brother, Antonio Gonzalez and Leonardo Gonzalez Jr.

She is survived by her children, Maria de Jesus Ferdin, Laura (Martin) Ferdin-Higgins, Juan Martin (Veronica) Ferdin Jr., Carlos Ferdin, Luis Alberto (Adriana) Ferdin.

13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.

Brothers, Matias (Yvonne) Villanueva and Alvaro (Cindy) Villanueva.

She would also meet regularly with her coworkers who she considered her Best Friends, Josefina Cortez, Maria T. Ramon and Ms. Garcia, who will dearly miss her.

Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. at the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral Services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 9:15 a.m. on Monday, March 2, 2026. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Nuestra Señora del Rosario Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
