Obituary

SAN JUANA MORENO
San Juana Moreno, 74, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020 in Laredo, Texas.
Mrs. Moreno was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident. She was proud to have been one of the first graduates of UISD and went on to obtain a career with UISD, as an Assistant Clerk, in the Special Education Department, where she remained employed for over 30 years. She had a passion for traveling and used her off time to enjoy that passion. She was a kind woman at heart, who will never be forgotten, and will be dearly missed by her Family and her many friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Vidal Guevara and Felipa M. Guevara.
She is survived by her siblings, Guadalupe Guevara, Carlos J. (Lydia) Guevara, Maria Luisa (Jose Luis) Gonzalez and Gloria Padilla.
Numerous Nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Following the Ordinance by the State of Texas, Visitations will be limited to 40 people inside our funeral home.
It is preferred for children not be allowed to attend services.
Funeral services are under the direction of the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Committal services will be held on a later date. Information with regard to funeral services may be obtained by calling the funeral home at (956) 723-2979.
