Obituary

SANDRA L. BROOKS
12/24/1964 – 1/21/2018
Sandra L. Brooks, born to Leopoldo and Juanita Brooks, on December 24, 1964, has passed away to be with our Lord, on January 21, 2018.
Sandra was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a lifelong resident.
She was a loving daughter, sister and aunt who enjoyed working on arts and crafts and loved her cats very much.
Sandra was a graduate of Martin High School, Class of 1984. She was a devoted Jehovah's Witness and will be greatly missed by all of those who loved her very much.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Leopoldo and Juanita Brooks.
She is survived by sisters, Esther Gomez De Fraga,  Griselda Y. (Alfredo) Arias, Maria Del Pilar Brooks-Martinez and Aide Brooks.
Brother, Mario Alberto Garcia.
Also surviving her are numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Miss Brooks' family would like to extend a special "Thank You" to her caregivers, her niece, Myriam Macias and her sister, Pili Brooks.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request that donations be made, in her honor, to the Laredo Animal Protection Society, at 2500 Gonzalez St. in Laredo.
Miss Brooks' Family will have a private Service at their home.
Cremation services are under the direction of Hernandez Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels.
