SANTA ISABEL LEIJA-AGUIÑA
Santa Isabel Leija-Aguiña, 54, passed away on Saturday, August 17, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas.
Mrs. Aguiña was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her father, Santos Leija.
Brothers, Arturo Leija, Felipe Leija and Santos Leija Jr.
She is survived by her children, Sara Alicia Aguina, Gerardo Alfonso (Claudia) Aguina and Ana Isabel Aguina.
Granddaughter, Madison Aguina.
Mother, Isabel M. Leija.
Brothers, Calixto (Sylvia) Leija, Jose (Leonor) Leija and Santos (Yvonne) Leija Jr.
Sisters, Juana Jasso and Maria Guadalupe (Jose Luis) Munoz.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Southside Chapel, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy.
Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2019. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
