SANTIAGO HERNANDEZ
Santiago Hernandez, 82, passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2020 in Laredo, Texas.
Mr. Hernandez was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.
He is preceded in death by his Mother, Pascuala Hernandez Mendez.
Brothers, Thomas Mendez, Manuel Mendez and Felix Mendez.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda Kronberg.
Siblings, Mrs. Guadalupe Vasquez, Ramon Mendez and Francisca Ortiz.
Also surviving are numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Following the Ordinance by the State of Texas, visitations will be limited to 40 people inside our funeral home.
It is preferred for minor children not be allowed to attend services.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 9 a.m. on Thursday, December 31, 2020. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
PALLBEARERS WILL BE: Roberto H. Ortiz, Javier H. Ortiz, Florencio Ortiz III, Reynaldo Ortiz, Daniel Ortiz, Jose Luis Ortiz, Juan Manuel Ortiz and Carlos Ortiz.
