Obituary

SANTOS SALAZAR
Santos Salazar, 80, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2017 at a local hospital.
Mr. Salazar was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Santos and Amparo Salazar.
Brother, Gregorio Salazar.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years of marriage, Gloria Nicolasa P. Salazar.
Children, Santos Gerardo (Veronica) Salazar, Rafael (Sandra) Salazar, Raul (Zulema) Salazar, Sergio (Sabrina) Salazar, Elizabeth (David) Lopez and Richard (Sylvia) Botello.
Grandchildren, Valerie, Elva, Santos Jr., Robert, Roland, Dionicio, Rafael Jr., Christy Lee, Kristelle Marie, Robert, Randy, Krystal Lynn, Richard, Raul Zachary, Zulema Bernadette, Johann Zebastian, Katherine Abigail, Sergio Jr., Samantha, Steven, Elizabeth, Carly, Juan Ricardo, Luis Eduardo and Allyson Rene.
21 great-grandchildren.
Sister, Guadalupe Salazar.
Also surviving him are are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons East Chapel, 4500 Thomas Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m on Saturday, February 4, 2017  departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at San Martin De Porres Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
