SANTOS LEIJA Santos Leija, 81, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2013 in Laredo,Texas. Mr. Leija was a dedicated mechanic who worked for many years at Santo Nino Auto Mechanics and was a self employed mechanic aswell. Mr. Leija is preceded in death by his Sons, Juan Leija, Jesus Leija, Baby girl Leija, Santos Leija Jr., Arturo Leija. Brothers and sister, Manuela Leija, Mr. Guadalupe Gaona, and Enrique Leija He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Isabel M. Leija Children, Felipe Lieja, Jose (Leonor) Leija, Calixto (Sylvia) Leija, Juana (Epifanio) Jasso, Maria (Jose Luis) Munoz, Isabel (Refugio) Aguina, Santos (Yvonne) Leija. Grandchildren, Omayra Leija, Araceli Jasso, Carlos Leija, Gerardo Aguina, Isabel Leija, Cindy Munoz, Gabriela Leija, Sara Aguina, Daniella Leija, Ana Aguina, Twins Daniel Leija Jr., Jose Daniel Jr., Adriana Leija, Claudia Munoz, and Angel Martin Vasquez. Great-Grandchildren, David Munoz Brothers and sisters, Dominga Lopez, Pedro Leija, Dolores Leija. Also surviving him are numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Southside Chapels, Zapata Hwy, Loop 20. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at San Vicente De Paul Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Laredo City Cemetery.
