SARA "SARITA" SOLANO
Sara "Sarita" Solano, 93, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2018 in her home in Laredo, Texas.
Ms. Solano was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. She was very dedicated to her family, friends and her church Holy Redeemer. A very humble person always putting everyone before herself.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Fernando and Gregoria Solano.
Siblings, Josephina Chapa, Zulema Meza, Fernando Solano Jr., Samuel Solano and Anita Fuentes.
She is survived by her daughters, Anita (Noe) Rubio and Angelita Solano.
Grandchildren, Noe L. Rubio Jr., Ramiro Rubio, Luis F. Rubio, Sarah B. Robledo and Elizabeth A. Robledo.
Also surviving her are numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
The family would like to express their utmost gratitude to Doris, her care-giver, Dr. Adonis Zuniga Goldwater, Dr. Carlos Cigarroa and Healing Hands Home Health Care.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 26, 2018 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
